SBI heist: Robbers abandon part of bank loot in Maha; Rs 41L cash, 6.5 kg gold recovered
Karnataka police have recovered a portion of the valuables stolen from the State Bank of India's Chadchan branch. The robbers, who fled to Maharashtra, abandoned part of their loot after a confrontation with villagers in Hulajanti village. The recovered bag contained 6.5 kg of gold jewellery and Rs 41 lakh in cash, according to Vijayapura SP Laxman Nimbargi.
